Step by Step Instructions

While the book is written in French, the step-by-step pictures make it easy to understand regardless of language. Each move is graded by difficulty level, from one to three stars. (Novice - Advanced - Professional) However, it's important to note that this book should not be used as a substitute for professional coaching. We strongly recommend that readers attempt moves only under the supervision of an experienced aerialist.

Super helpful

I teach static trapeze but am just beginning doubles trapeze, and it is a whole new world for me. This book is awesome! It has tons of cool ideas for movements that range from beginner-accessible (as long as the beginners are strong) to way more advanced than I will probably ever be able to do. I know no French but it doesn't matter, as the words are not the important part of this book. There is definitely some information that has to be assumed or figured out experientially, so I would not recommend just trying stuff in the book without a good coach. But if both you and your partner are quite strong and have good body awareness/aerial awareness (and a good mat), I think you will be fine.
